Middlesex London Food Policy Council (MLFPC)

Established in 2017, the Middlesex London Food Policy Council (MLFPC) envisions a robust and thriving local food system that sustains and nourishes all residents while being socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable. It is a space where stakeholders in the agri-food industry can network, coordinate, and leverage their resources to better communicate, educate, and advocate for growth and development in the food systems serving Middlesex county and the City of London. The MLFPC actively supports food system research too. The Council consists of volunteers representing the various segments of the agri-food system who give voice to the many interests and concerns of food system stakeholders. In its brief existence, the Council has already proven itself to be an effective voice for the local agri-food community at the municipal, county, and provincial level.
